PayHarmony gives you secure payment processing with transparent pricing, no locked contracts, a modern gateway, and a partner who will not freeze your funds or close your account without a straight answer. Most clients save on processing fees — and we quote your rate in writing before you switch.
From checkout to your bank account in a few secure steps.
Card-present, online, mobile and phone payments all settle through a single merchant account. Retail, restaurant, professional services, nonprofit and subscription businesses each get payment processing priced for how they actually take money, instead of one flat rate that quietly costs more as you grow.
A current-generation gateway with a documented API, hosted checkout, tokenized card storage, recurring billing and ACH payment processing. It connects to the e-commerce store or custom application our team builds for you, and to most major carts and accounting packages.
Twenty-five years of building merchant payment solutions, no locked contracts, and a named contact who picks up the phone. If a batch does not settle or a chargeback lands, you reach a person the same day instead of filling out a form and waiting.
Send a recent payment processing statement. We read the effective rate you are actually paying — interchange, assessments, markup and the fees buried in the monthly total — and show you the arithmetic behind it.
You get your payment processing rate in writing, with equipment and gateway costs stated up front. Most clients save on processing fees, and we quote yours before you switch rather than promising an average.
Underwriting usually takes one to two business days. We set up the gateway, move recurring customers and run live test transactions with you before anything cuts over, so your payment processing never stops.
There is no single number, because payment processing cost depends on interchange — what the card networks charge for each card type — plus your processor’s markup. We quote the markup in writing and show the interchange underneath it, so you can compare our number to your current statement line by line. Send one recent statement and you will have a written quote back within a business day.
No. Secure payment processing should not require a hostage agreement. There are no locked contracts and no early-termination penalty, so if the service is not what we told you it would be, you are free to leave.
Yes. One merchant account covers point-of-sale terminals, an online checkout, a mobile reader, and phone or invoice payments, and all of that payment processing reports in one place instead of three dashboards.
Yes. The gateway stores tokenized cards for subscriptions and memberships, runs scheduled recurring charges, and includes ACH payment processing for larger invoices where card fees do not make sense.
Underwriting typically takes one to two business days. Gateway setup, integration and live testing usually add a few more. We keep the old and new payment processing running in parallel until you are taking payments cleanly on the new account.
Yes. Our web development and custom IT teams build the checkout, the store or the internal tool the gateway talks to, so payment processing, orders and records line up instead of living in separate systems.
No. Card data is tokenized by the gateway and is never stored on your site or ours. That is what secure payment processing means in practice: a small PCI scope, and cardholder data kept out of systems that have no need for it.
Flat-rate providers are simple to start with, and at very low volume they are fine. The tradeoffs show up later: a blended rate that costs more as you grow, funds held or accounts closed with little explanation, and support you can only reach by web form. Our merchant payment solutions are priced transparently, and you can call us.

Payment processing quotes are hard to compare because they are quoted in different units, and the headline rate rarely describes what you will actually pay. Underneath almost every quote sit interchange fees, set by the card networks and paid to the card-issuing bank, plus network assessments, plus whatever the processor adds on top. Only that last part is negotiable, and only that last part differs between providers.
So the useful question is which pricing model you are being offered. Flat-rate charges one percentage for everything: simple and predictable, and it averages across card types so you overpay on cheap transactions and underpay on expensive ones. Interchange-plus passes the network cost through and adds a disclosed margin, which makes the markup visible and generally favours higher volume. Tiered pricing sorts transactions into qualified and non-qualified buckets whose definitions the processor controls, and that is the model which makes comparison hardest.
Then ask what is not in the rate: monthly fees, statement fees, gateway fees, PCI compliance fees and non-compliance penalties, chargeback fees, batch fees, monthly minimums, and early termination clauses. A low rate carrying a stack of fixed fees can easily cost more than a higher rate without them, particularly at lower volume where the fixed costs dominate.
The question with the largest consequences is not price at all. Under what circumstances can this provider hold your funds or close your account, how much notice do you get, and who can you actually speak to about it? Reserves and sudden closures are survivable for a business with cash in the bank and serious for one without, and that risk is rarely discussed in a quote.
We do not process payments ourselves — we work with a payment partner and will introduce you where it fits, with your rate quoted in writing before you decide anything. What we can usefully do is read an existing statement with you and show you where the money is going. We are not financial advisors and none of this is financial advice; the decision is yours to make with your own numbers. Book a call and bring a recent processing statement.
