Before You Transfer Your Website!
Before we can migrate your website, you need to make sure you have the following:
- The name of your domain registrar (where your domain is hosted such as GoDaddy, etc..).
- Your registrar account login credentials. Some registrars like GoDaddy also use your phone number for verification so please make sure you have that information if applicable.
- A shared or dedicated cloud hosting account with Liberation. If you do not currently have Liberation hosting, please purchase one today . We will not be able to migrate your site without an active hosting plan.
We highly recommend transferring your domain to Liberation.
This will make the migration process much easier for our Migration Team.
If you need your website transferred immediately, we can still complete the migration, we just may need to obtain authorization codes from your domain registrar.
- Login to your current registrar and start the transfer process to Liberation. You will be given an EPP code to authorize the transfer process to Liberaton.
- Revisit this page and click on the button below to start the transfer process.
- Search for your domain.
- Click the “Transfer” button.
- Click the “Checkout” button.
- Enter the EPP code from #1 into the box labeled “EPP Code”.
- Complete the checkout process. You have now created a Liberation customer account where you can manage your domain(s) and other Liberation products.
