Who owns the domain if you register it for us?
You do. Your organisation goes on the record as registrant with your contact details. We administer the domain on your behalf and you can transfer it away whenever you like.
Can we transfer a domain we registered somewhere else?
Yes. Unlock it at your current registrar, get the authorisation code and we handle the transfer. It adds a year to the registration at the standard price.
What happens if we let a domain expire?
It enters a grace period — 35 days for a .com at $20.99 — and then a redemption period, 30 days at $108.99, after which it can be released. Auto-renewal and a monitored contact address prevent all of it.
Do we need WHOIS privacy?
If the registrant contact would otherwise be a home address or personal phone number, yes. It hides the details from public lookups while keeping the registration in your name.
Can we use the domain for email as well as the website?
