Restaurant Websites, Email And Local SEO From About $23 A Month

A menu people can read on a phone, a mailbox on your own domain, and the local search work that puts you in front of somebody deciding where to eat tonight.

The Short Answer

A restaurant website has three jobs: show the current menu, show hours and location, and let people book or order. Almost everything else is decoration. LiberationTek packages what a single-location restaurant needs — a drag-and-drop website from $10.99 a month with hosting and SSL included, a mailbox on your own domain at $1.95 a month, and an SEO tool from $9.99 a month that tracks whether you actually appear when somebody searches your town and your cuisine. About $23 a month for all three, on servers we own in the United States, with the build and migration done by a person.

What A Restaurant Website Has To Do

Show the menu, on a phone

Most of your traffic is somebody standing on a sidewalk deciding where to eat. A menu as a PDF is a menu nobody reads — it loads slowly, pinches badly and is invisible to search engines. A real menu page is text, it loads in under two seconds, and Google can read the dishes on it.

Answer the three questions

Are you open right now, where exactly are you, and is there parking. Hours that are wrong are worse than no website, because somebody drives over and finds the door locked. Hours live in one place on your site and in your Google listing, and they have to match.

Take the booking or the order

A reservation form or an order link that goes to you, not through a third party taking a cut of every ticket. You own the booking, the email address and the follow-up. The delivery apps are a channel, not your front door.

If your current site does those three things, you do not need us to rebuild it — move it onto shared hosting from $7.99 a month and spend the money on local search instead. We will tell you which case you are in.

The Visibility Package — About $23 A Month

You do not need an agency retainer to be findable. You need a site you can edit, an address that is not a free webmail account, and something that tells you each week whether you are moving up or down for the searches that matter in your town.

The Delivery Apps Are Not A Website

1. We Map What You Have

The apps bring volume and they take a percentage of every order, which is a trade some restaurants are happy to make. What they do not give you is the customer. You do not get the email address, you cannot tell a regular about Thursday’s special, and if the app changes its commission you have no other channel to fall back on. A restaurant with 1,200 email addresses it collected itself has an asset. A restaurant with 1,200 app orders has a receipt.

Be clear-eyed about what we do and do not solve: we host the website, run the mail and provide the marketing and SEO tools. We are not a payment processor and we do not solve the merchant-account side of taking money online — you will still need a processor, and we will happily point the site at whichever one you choose.

2. We Move It Without A Sunday Gap

Website, email, giving records and media move on a schedule built around your service times. Nothing cuts over mid-week without a tested rollback, and giving keeps running throughout — we do not take a church offline on a Saturday night.

3. Your Team Gets Trained

Staff and volunteers get walked through the new setup, with written guides for the people who update the site each week. Support afterwards is a phone call to a named contact, not a ticket queue — which matters when something breaks an hour before a service.

Email Marketing Is How You Fill A Tuesday

Local search brings the first visit. Email brings the fifth. Liberation Campaign is free for your first month at 1,000 emails, then $10 a month at 10,000 sends — which is more than almost any single-location restaurant needs.

What It Costs, Written Down

1. We Map What You Have

Website, mailbox and SEO tool: about $23 a month. That is $10.99 for the site builder Starter plan, $1.95 for one mailbox on your own domain, and $9.99 for the SEO tool Lite plan. Add $10 a month for email marketing at 10,000 sends and you are near $33. If you already have a website you are happy with, drop the builder and shared hosting starts at $7.99 a month instead.

A restaurant group with three locations usually wants one site per location or one site with three location pages, plus a mailbox for each manager. That is still under $40 a month at published prices. If you are running online ordering at volume and the site cannot be slow at 7pm on a Friday, managed WordPress hosting from $29 a month or a managed cloud VPS is the better home for it.

Our prices are published on the product pages rather than quoted on a call. We will also be straight about renewals: shared hosting renews at $12.99 a month after the first term, and the site builder and SEO plans are month to month. Nobody has to ring us to find out what they are paying next year. If you want somebody to do the local search work rather than run the tool yourself, our local SEO services are quoted on the work, and we will tell you if the tool alone is enough.

Restaurant Website And Hosting FAQs

With us, from $10.99 a month using Liberation Site Builder, which includes the hosting, a free SSL certificate and a free domain on annual plans. Add a mailbox on your own domain for $1.95 a month and the SEO tool for $9.99 a month and you are at about $23 a month all in. If you would rather somebody built it for you than use the drag-and-drop builder, our development team quotes that work separately.

No. A PDF menu does not work well on a phone, takes longer to load than the page it sits on, and search engines cannot read the dish names inside it the way they read text. Put the menu on a real page as text. Keep the PDF as a download if you want one for printing, but do not make it the only version.

Yes. The site builder includes forms and booking widgets, and you can embed whichever reservation or ordering system you already use. One honest caveat: we host the site and run the mail, but we are not a payment processor and we do not solve the merchant-account side of taking card payments. You bring the processor, we point the site at it.

Nobody can promise a ranking, and anyone who does is selling you something. What the SEO tool does is tell you where you currently stand for the searches that matter, what up to two competitors are doing, and what to fix next, with a report updated weekly. Fixing the basics — a readable menu, correct hours, a fast site, consistent name and address — is most of the job for a local restaurant.

Yes, and that is often the cheaper answer. Shared hosting starts at $7.99 a month and migration is free and done by a person. If the site is WordPress and traffic is real, managed WordPress hosting from $29 a month handles the updates and caching for you.

Because [email protected] tells a supplier, a reviewer and a prospective hire that nobody has got round to it yet — and because you cannot take it with you or control who has access. A mailbox on your own domain is $1.95 a month, it is scanned by nobody, it sits on US servers, and we move your existing mail across for free.

Support is 24/7 and US-based, so there is somebody to call at 7pm on a Friday. Daily backups are included so a bad plugin or a bad edit is a restore rather than a rebuild. If your online ordering genuinely cannot be offline, say so and we will put you on a managed cloud VPS with an uptime SLA rather than shared hosting.

Send us your current site, or tell us you do not have one. We will tell you what we would do, what it costs at published prices, and whether you should spend the money on the website or on local search first. If your current setup is fine, we will say so.
