Zoho Workplace is cheap and capable — $3 per user a month billed annually on Standard, $6 on Professional. Hub for Teams is $7.49. We are not going to pretend we are the bargain. What you are choosing between is a large international suite where your data lives in a region you pick once at signup, and a small U.S. company running your email, files, office apps, chat and video on hardware it owns and operates in the United States. Zoho’s own documentation is clear that moving between its data centres is not self-service: you email their migrations team, apps should be offline during the move, several products’ data cannot be migrated at all, and integrations do not come across. If where your data physically sits matters to your organisation, that is the decision you are actually making. Prices checked September 13, 2026.
Zoho Workplace puts your company’s email, files and documents on infrastructure spread across data centres worldwide, in a region selected when you sign up. Hub for Teams keeps all of it on servers LiberationTek owns and operates in the United States, with no ads, no tracking and no data resale.
Zoho asks you to choose a data region when you sign up, and its own documentation says changing it later is not self-service — you email their migrations team, apps should be offline during the move, and integrations cannot be migrated at all. Several Zoho products’ data does not come across either. Hub for Teams is in the United States, full stop, with nothing to choose and nothing to unpick.
Email, files, documents, chat and video all stay on servers LiberationTek owns and operates in the United States. Not leased capacity inside a larger platform, and not a region selected from a menu — one country, one company, one set of laws.
Because your Hub does not span a dozen separate products across regions, there is no scenario where moving your data means rebuilding every connection between them. Zoho is explicit that integrations — between its own apps as well as third-party ones — do not survive a data centre migration.
Zoho is a large international software suite with dozens of products. LiberationTek is small enough that the person answering your ticket knows your account and can actually change something. For organisations without an IT department, that is usually worth more than the line item.
We move mailboxes, files, contacts and calendars from Zoho for you, and nothing at the old provider is deleted until you have confirmed everything arrived. Your domain and addresses stay exactly as they are.
Video meetings run in the browser with nothing for guests to install, alongside chat, shared files, calendars and projects in the same place rather than as separate products you stitch together.
We do not track, sell or share your data or your activity, and we do not use it to train anything. That is a commitment about what we will never do with your business’s information, not a setting you have to find and switch off.
Support is U.S.-based and staffed by people who work on the platform. No offshore first tier, no bot closing the ticket, and no acceptable-use committee deciding whether your organisation is appropriate.

Real customer reviews. LiberationTek is rated 4.9 out of 5 on Google and 4.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot (September 2026).
Try Hub for Teams alongside Zoho with no commitment. Nothing changes at Zoho while you are looking, and your existing mail keeps flowing.
We migrate mailboxes, files, contacts and calendars across. Because Zoho spans several products, we map what you actually use rather than assuming, and tell you honestly what has no direct equivalent.
Your domain and every address on it stay the same. We generate the DNS records and walk you through them, or handle it entirely if your domain is with us.
Point the domain, confirm mail is arriving, and close the Zoho account when you are ready. From then on your data sits in one country on hardware we own.
“The Hub for Teams program from Liberation Technology has more collaborative features than my small biz, husband/wife company with independent contractors have utilized — the calendar is great, sharing files works out really well, and with the security level we are glad to continue our subscription.”

No. Zoho Workplace Standard is $3 per user a month billed annually and Professional is $6; Hub for Teams is $7.49. For a ten-person team that is a real difference and worth weighing honestly. What you get for it is that your email, files, documents, chat and video all sit on servers LiberationTek owns and operates in the United States, with done-for-you migration and U.S. support from people who work on the platform.
Because the choice is made once and is awkward to undo. Zoho asks you to pick a data region at signup, and its own documentation says changing it later is not self-service — you email their migrations team, they advise not using the apps during the move, several products’ data cannot be migrated at all, and integrations do not come across, including ones between Zoho’s own apps. If your organisation has a view about where its information physically lives, that is worth knowing before you commit.
Quite a lot, and we would rather say so. It is a genuinely broad suite at a low price, with mail, a drive, an office set, chat and meetings, and it suits teams that want many tools cheaply and are relaxed about where the data sits. If price per user is the deciding factor, Zoho will win that comparison. We are built for organisations where U.S. hosting, independence and one company to call are the deciding factors instead.
Yes, done for you. We move mailboxes, files, contacts and calendars across, and because Zoho spans several separate products we map what you actually use rather than assuming — then tell you honestly if anything has no direct equivalent in the Hub. Nothing at Zoho is deleted until you have confirmed everything arrived, and your domain and addresses do not change.
Yes. Every address on your domain stays exactly as it is. We generate the DNS records you need — MX, SPF, DKIM — and walk you through adding them, or handle it entirely if your domain is registered with us. To your customers, nothing about your email changes.
Projects is built into Hub for Teams; in Zoho it is a separate product with its own subscription. Video meetings run in the browser with nothing for guests to install. And migration is done for you rather than being a self-service tool you run yourself.
LiberationTek does. Your data sits on hardware we own and operate in the United States — not leased capacity inside a larger cloud, and not a region chosen from a menu. We do not track, sell or share your data or your activity, we do not use it to train anything, and we do not remove accounts over lawful speech.
