Brevo gets the billing model right — like Liberation Campaign, it charges for the emails you send rather than the contacts you store. So this is not a page about saving money on your list.
The differences that matter are where the company sits, whose law governs your account, how much of the delivery layer you can actually see, and whether you can reach a person by phone on the plan you are on. If you are weighing a Brevo alternative for an American business, those four are the decision.
We handle the move so you can keep working.
“A beautiful campaign that lands in spam is worth nothing. That is why Liberation Campaign gives you direct access to the infrastructure that determines whether your email actually arrives.”
Why we expose the delivery layer
Two send-billed email platforms side by side. Brevo details are from Brevo’s own published pricing, help centre and terms of use, checked September 2026. Plans and policies change, so confirm before you buy.

Dedicated delivery servers mean your sending reputation is yours rather than a pool shared with strangers. You also get an SPF record generator with guided DNS setup, bounce and feedback-loop handling, inbox monitors that track campaigns after they send, and a suppression list you can inspect yourself.
Liberation Campaign runs on infrastructure LiberationTek owns and operates in the United States, under one U.S. company. Brevo is Sendinblue SAS, registered in Paris, and its general terms are governed by French law; customers in the United States, Canada and Mexico contract with a separate Delaware entity instead.
Brevo’s published support is email on the free and paid tiers, with speaking to the team directly listed as an Enterprise feature. Liberation Campaign includes support from the people who actually run the platform, by phone, on every plan.
Subscriber data is never sold, never shared and never used to train anything. Export your full list with custom fields whenever you want. There is no proprietary format to unpick and nothing to negotiate on the way out.
Create as many lists and segments as your organization actually needs, at any tier. Segmentation is not something you ration to stay inside a plan.
Campaign sits on the same account as your hosting, your business email, your domain and Hub for Teams — one login, one bill, one support team that can see all of it. Most platforms solve email marketing and leave the rest to you.
How your organization sends | Emails in a typical month | Your tier |
|---|---|---|
A church emailing a 2,000-person congregation weekly | 8,000 | $10 — the 10,000 tier |
A nonprofit running one 15,000-donor appeal a quarter | 15,000 in the months you send | $20 — the 40,000 tier |
A small business emailing 20,000 customers twice a month | 40,000 | $20 — the 40,000 tier |
An agency sending weekly to a 25,000-person list | 100,000 | $45 — the 100,000 tier |
An ecommerce store running automations to 20,000 buyers | Around 240,000 | $100 — the 250,000 tier |
A publisher mailing 125,000 subscribers weekly | 500,000 | $200 — the 500,000 tier |
Multiply your list size by the campaigns you send in a normal month. That number is what you pay for on both platforms, so it is the figure to compare with.
Brevo exports contacts to CSV with your custom fields. Upload it, map the columns, and your lists and segments come across intact. No developer, and nothing to cancel before you start.
Your first 1,000 emails are free. Send a real campaign to a small segment, watch it through the inbox monitors, and confirm your templates render before you move the whole list.
Run the SPF generator to set up DNS authentication and add your sending domain. From then on bounce handling, feedback loops and suppression run themselves.
Real customer reviews. LiberationTek is rated 4.9 out of 5 on Google and 4.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot (September 2026).
Mail, chat and files in one workspace.

Not necessarily, and we would rather say so than have you find out at renewal. Brevo and Liberation Campaign both bill by emails sent rather than contacts stored, so neither one punishes you for holding a large list you email occasionally. At entry volumes the two are close. Liberation Campaign starts at $10 for 10,000 emails with your first 1,000 free. Compare that against Brevo’s published tier for your real monthly send volume. If price is the only thing that matters to you, do the arithmetic before you switch.
Four things. The company is American and there is one contract rather than a French parent and a separate Delaware entity. Phone support is on every plan rather than being an Enterprise feature. You can see and control the delivery layer — dedicated sending servers, an SPF generator, inbox monitors, and a suppression list you can inspect. And Campaign sits on the same account as your hosting, business email, domains and Hub for Teams, on one bill.
Brevo is the trading name of Sendinblue SAS, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register. Brevo’s general terms of use state that they are governed by French law, with disputes heard by the Commercial Court of Paris. Customers in the United States, Canada and Mexico contract with SIB INC. US, a Delaware company, under Delaware law and arbitration. Liberation Campaign is one American company under United States law.
Yes. Brevo’s free plan allows up to 300 email sends per day, and its help documentation notes that unused daily sends do not carry over to the next day. Liberation Campaign gives you your first 1,000 emails free as a trial of real deliverability rather than an ongoing free tier, then bills by volume from $10 for 10,000 emails.
Yes, on every Liberation Campaign plan, and you reach the people who actually operate the platform. Brevo’s published support is email-based on the free and paid tiers; speaking directly with their team is listed as an Enterprise plan feature. If something goes wrong mid-campaign, that difference is the one you feel.
Yes. Brevo exports your contacts to CSV with custom fields intact. Upload the file, map the columns, and your lists and segments come across. Send a test campaign to a small segment first, confirm your templates render and your deliverability looks right, then move the rest. Nothing needs cancelling before you start, and our team will walk the import with you.
No. Brevo is a broader platform that bundles SMS, WhatsApp, live chat and a CRM alongside email marketing. Liberation Campaign is email marketing. If you need all of those channels in one tool, Brevo does something we do not, and that is a real reason to stay. If what you need is email done properly with the delivery layer visible to you, that is what Campaign is built for.
We do not sell it, share it or use it to train anything. Liberation Campaign runs on infrastructure LiberationTek owns and operates in the United States. You can export your full list with custom fields at any time — there is no proprietary format to unpick and nothing to negotiate on the way out.
Most comparison pages start by telling you the other platform is expensive. This one cannot, because Brevo bills the way we do.
Both platforms charge for the emails you send in a month rather than the contacts you store. That is the right model, and it is the reason a church with an 18,000-person congregation it emails twice a month is not punished for the size of its list.
So if you came here expecting a savings argument, the honest answer is: run your real monthly send volume against both published rate cards and see. At entry volumes the two are close.
Brevo is the trading name of Sendinblue SAS, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register.
Brevo’s general terms of use state that they are governed by French law, with disputes heard by the Commercial Court of Paris. Customers in the United States, Canada and Mexico sign with a separate entity, SIB INC. US, a Delaware company, under Delaware law and arbitration. There is a third entity for German, Swiss and Austrian customers.
That structure is normal for a platform operating across continents, and Brevo documents it openly in its own terms. It also means the company you are buying from and the company behind the product are not the same legal entity.
Liberation Campaign is one American company. The infrastructure is ours, in the United States, and the contract is with the people who run it.
Brevo’s published support is email-based on the free and paid tiers. Speaking directly with the team is listed as an Enterprise plan feature, alongside a dedicated deliverability specialist.
For a lot of businesses that is fine. Email support with a few-hour turnaround handles most questions.
It stops being fine at 6am on the morning of a campaign, when your sending domain is failing authentication and 12,000 people are due to hear from you at nine. Liberation Campaign includes phone support on every plan, and the person who answers runs the platform.
This is the difference most people do not think about until deliverability goes wrong, and then think about constantly.
On most platforms, sending happens in a pool. Your reputation is mixed with everyone else’s, the suppression list is managed for you, and when messages stop reaching inboxes you file a ticket and wait to be told what happened.
Liberation Campaign gives you dedicated delivery servers, so your sending reputation is yours. You get an SPF record generator with guided DNS setup, automatic bounce and feedback-loop handling, inbox monitors that track campaigns after they leave, and a suppression and blacklist list you can inspect and control yourself.
If you have ever had a campaign quietly stop landing and been unable to find out why, that is the feature you are looking for in a Brevo alternative.
Campaign sits on the same account as your hosting, your business email, your domain registration and Hub for Teams. One login, one bill, one support team that can see all of it.
That matters more than it sounds. Most email-deliverability problems are actually DNS problems, and DNS problems are much easier to fix when the same team holds the domain, the mail server and the sending platform.

We would rather lose the sale than have you switch for the wrong reason.
Brevo is a broader platform than we are. It bundles SMS, WhatsApp, live chat and a CRM alongside email marketing. Liberation Campaign does email marketing. If your customer communication genuinely runs across all those channels, consolidating them in one tool is worth real money, and we do not compete there.
Brevo’s free tier is also an ongoing free tier — 300 sends a day, indefinitely. Ours is a 1,000-email trial to prove deliverability, not a permanent free plan. If you send a handful of emails a week and that is the whole requirement, Brevo’s free tier does something we do not.
And if your business and your subscribers are in the European Union, a French company under French law may suit you better than an American one. Pick the jurisdiction that fits your organization.
Whichever way you go, three things are worth confirming first.
Your real monthly send volume. Not your list size. List size is what the other billing model charges for, and it is the number people quote out of habit.
Whether your custom fields survive the export. They do from Brevo — it exports to CSV with fields intact — but check your segments rebuild the way you expect before you cut over.
Whether your templates render. Send a real campaign to a small segment on the new platform before you move the whole list. That is what the free first 1,000 emails are for.
Do those three and the switch is an afternoon. Skip them and it is a fortnight of small surprises.
